The Banyan Tree in Lahaina is one of the largest banyan trees in the a United States. It was imported from India and planted in front of the Lahaina Courthouse in 1873, it sprawls along Front Street and spans the size of the entire block and is more than 60 feet high. The only other tree I’ve seen in person that matched this majestic giant was at Chris Blackwell’s Pantrepant in Jamaica.
